Spooktacular Sensory Bin

Halloween is right around the corner! The neighborhood is decked out in its spooky best, and BOO signs are popping up on every door. Use our D.I.Y. guide to create your own spooktacular sensory bin for hours of creepy-crawly, witchy-spell sensory play to entertain your little ghosts and goblins! What You Need: 1T Purple Water Beads 1T Black Water Beads 1 Mini Pumpkin Pail 2 Mini Cauldrons 4+ Orange-tipped Spiders 1+ Large Bat 1+ Large Spider 2 Glow in the Dark Eyeballs 3+ Bones 2 Skulls 1 Orange Scooper Handful Large Green Buttons 1 Pair Skeleton Arms or 1 Pumpkin Super Goop Scoop (Party City) 2 Jack-o-Lantern Stress Balls 1 Witches Brew Recipe Card 1 Storage Bin w/Latching Lid (we use 15.5 qt.) Directions: Place water beads in bin, and add 2-4 cups of water (add more water for larger beads). Allow beads to soak for up to 6 hours. Drain excess water, and add other sensory items. When you're done playing, remove all items (other than water beads) from the bin and place aside to dry. Meanwhile, let water beads dehydrate in the bin (they will return close to original size). Once dry, store everything in your bin, and pack away for play another day! Tried it? Love it? Let us know! Tag @busybebesatx with #spookysensorybin. Live in Austin?
