• Clothespin Sun Beams:  Practice fine motor skills by clipping the clothespins around the plate to make your very own sun! Need a challenge? Write the letters of the alphabet on each clothespin, and order them correctly around the sun. Flip them over and write numbers 1-26 or skip count by 2's or 5's, and see if you can order those! Try putting them in order counting backwards.

• DIY Wooden Sailboat:  Link the small rectangular pieces together to make a propeller. Insert the flag into the hole at the top of the boat with the two 2 pegs sticking up. Attach the propeller between the two pegs with the rubber bands to hold it in place. Use your acrylic paint pens to decorate it! Will it float?! Give it a try!

• Store your bag in an easy to grab place, so that you remember it when heading out the door.

• Keep your busy bag out of the regular rotation of toys, so it’s novel whether used at home or on the go.

Our Busy Bags are suitable for children ages 3 and up and contain small parts that could be a choking hazard.  Carefully choose independent activities that you trust your child to engage with properly, regardless of age.  Remaining activities should be done with a responsible adult.  Never leave a child alone with a Busy Bag.  Children should always remain within eyesight, even if engaging in independent play.
