• Constellation Creator: Choose a constellation card to build. Count how many stars are on the card. String that number of beads onto a pipe cleaner. Then bend and twist the pipe cleaner to make the shape of the constellation, and arrange the stars in the correct places.

• Rocket Ships Magnetic Build-It!: Mix and match magnets to create your own galactic spacecraft.

• Outer Space Dominoes:   Mix up the dominoes and place them face down in a pile.  Each player takes 4 dominoes, making sure theother players do not see them.  Draw 1 domino from the pile and place it with the picture facing up on the table to start the domino chain.  Player 1 looks to see if any of the dominoes in his/her hand has a picture that matches either end of the domino chain. If the player has a match, he/she places the domino at the end of the chain so that the matching pictures are touching. The player can choose which direction to place the domino to fit the table.  If the player does not have a match, he/shedraws a domino from the pile. If the drawn domino matches either end of the domino chain, the player can play the drawn domino that turn and then the next player plays. If the drawn domino does not match, the player keeps it in his/her hand and then the next player plays.  Gameplay continues with players takingturns looking for a match at either end of thedomino chain. You can also play with the reverse side of the dominoes and match the number of dots to create the domino chain.  HOW TO WIN: The first player to use all of his/her dominoes wins. If no one can play after the draw pile is empty, the player with the fewest dominoes wins.

• Store your bag in an easy to grab place, so that you remember it when heading out the door.

• Rotate your busy bags (with others or other busy activities), so that it's novel whether used at home or on the go.

Our Busy Bags are suitable for children ages 3 and up and contain small parts that could be a choking hazard.  Carefully choose independent activities that you trust your child to engage with properly, regardless of age.  Remaining activities should be done with a responsible adult.  Never leave a child alone with a Busy Bag.  Children should always remain within eyesight, even if engaging in independent play.
